Hydrangea are thirsty flowers, so always cut the stems as you receive your flowers and place them in a vase of cool water.  We snip up the stem too which helps the flowers get as much water as possible.

Tip:

• If your hydrangeas appear to wilt prematurely, remove them from the vase and recut the stems at a sharp angle dig out the white sap and submerge the blooms completely in cool water for a short period of time then place stems in a vase of boiling water This should revive them so that you can return them to your arrangement
